Black T-shirt with a large graphic of a Disney-inspired dripping rat design, hanging on a black hanger against a white background.

For people who still want to be part of the magic.

Rat Haus was conceived, unsurprisingly, during a trip to Disney. We were enjoying our favourite snack together - a big bucket of sweet popcorn.

I had spent much of my time looking for merch which I would wear both in the Parks and in a casual, everyday setting. Unfortunately, as a person who spends most of their time wearing black T-shirts and more alternative designs, my search was mainly unsuccessful.

My partner and I had looked in virtually every store in the park and found a jersey and a hat. Most other designs didn’t feel ‘me’ enough to wear, especially when we were back home. Inevitably, that led to a conversation about how many other people were in the same boat as me - was there a group of people who wanted to be part of the magic, but felt like they couldn’t?

After we came home, we spoke to our friends and found so many of them had the same issue. Even the ones who liked to wear the normal merch offerings had a partner or a child or a friend who could never find something that was right for them. So the planning began.

It started with the basic core design, the OG: The Drippy Rat. From there, we began to culminate a collection of our favourite imagery and references.

The essence of Rat Haus was born. We wanted high-quality garments with Parks-inspired designs which would be suited to any occasion, whether we were at the Parks or walking down a high street or in a nice restaurant. Streetwear with a themed twist.
